Crandon, Wisconsin (September 2, 2007) — Crandon Carl is what they call him and he was super fast this morning here at the Crandon International Raceway where he dominated the first lap pushing his Lucas Oil Nissan to the front of the field. Renezeder never looked back while Curt LeDuc, Josh Baldwin and MONSTER's Johnny Greaves chased the race veteran around this famed piece of dirt.
Greaves suffered a flat tire that dropped him from contending while LeDuc broke a steering tie-rod and he launched his Skyjacker Pro 4 into the trees lining the front stretch before turn one. LeDuc had challenged Renezeder chasing him hard, however the mishap and subsequent crash into the trees prevented LeDuc from finishing the race. LeDuc climbed out of his Skyjacker Ford signaling that he survived the crash and he'll be ready for this afternoon's Borg-Warner Cup race where he hopes to run to the checkers.
Adrian Cenni and Jerry Daughtery had problems right off the start and did not make full race laps. Brascho and Drews limped around the race course to add important series points to their season points tally. But the real story was all about Carl Renezeder rolling his Nissan Lucas Oil truck to victory lane yet again.
