COTO DE CAZA, California - Austin Reed, driver of the #14 Ringers Gloves, Approved Memory, Dirt Bagz, Fox Shox, Trophy Kart in the Junior 2 Class entered the last points race in the M4SX series at LEMP in Elsinore Ca. He had a good run in his heat race and got off to a good start in the main event. Austin got squeezed out in the first corner and had a ton of ground to make up on the leaders. Austin now in 6th place, drove his butt off to get back to the 3rd position. He was 50 yards back from 2nd place and with 2 laps to go he reeled in the 2nd place truck on the last corner they were nose to tail.

Austin got a good run coming off the corner into the rhythm section and pulled along side of 2nd when coming to to the checkered flag he was to the door panel, there was not enough room going into the tight right hand corner to take the checkers and Austin went end over end in a spectacular roll over. He wasn't hurt and finished the race while upside down. The truck has some damage to the body and needed a new rear axle, other than that the truck came through in great shape.
Austin is really looking forwad to starting the 2008 racing series with CORR in the new Trophy Kary Elite series with a KX250 motor and the M4SX/ Dirt Alliance running his same truck from last year at LEMP in Lake Elsinore starting Saturday Feb 16th.
