Dale Ebberts to Drive DeJong Racing’s Class 1 Entry in the 13th Annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge

Murrieta, CA (January 16, 2007) – Driver and car owner Vince DeJong has announced that two-time SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge overall winner Dale Ebberts will pilot the DeJong-Chevy Class 1 entry in the upcoming 13th annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge. The combination of Dale Ebberts driving experience and Vince DeJong’s car building experience should make for a potent combination.

“After visiting the shop and seeing the workmanship and top quality fabrication of the car, I am very excited about getting behind the wheel.” said Ebberts. “Vince DeJong and his crew have built an impressive car and I look forward to driving it this coming weekend in Laughlin.

With Dale’s experience in this race, along with the preparation of the car, we should have a great opportunity to win.”

In DeJong Racing’s first SCORE event, Vince DeJong and company finished 13th in Class 1 out of 52 competitors. DeJong Racing plans on racing the SCORE Baja 500 again this year and also plans to compete for Rookie of the Year honors in the 2007 Best in the Desert series in Class 1500.
