March 10 SCORE Baja 250 Desert Race in Mexico
Santo Tomas Will Host SCORE Baja 250 Finish Line at Baseball Field
Ensenada, Baja California (March 2, 2007)
Situated just outside of Ensenada, Baja California is the small village of Santo Tomas. For decades the small town has been the jumping off point for adventurers seeking adventure on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Passing the famed El Palomar Restraurant and Hotel the trail of adventure turns west into steep hillsides of Santo Tomas and heads across the farmland towards the Pacific Ocean where off road adventurers can head south down the famous Baja Peninsula to points south.
This year Santo Tomas will host the finish line activities of the 21st Annual SCORE Baja 250 after a last minute change of venue from San Felipe to Ensenada. SCORE has provided a Google Earth image depicting the route to the finish line slated to held at the town baseball field held south of town on Mexico Hwy 1.
