Parker, AZ - April 26, 2008 – In the week prior to the Best in the Desert Terrible’s 250 at Primm, it was all smiles and excitement coming from the PMC Racing shop in Parker, Arizona.  The smiling and excitement continued in the pits once the checkered flag was waved on April 19th.  After a disappointing showing at PMC Racing’s hometown race, the Parker 425, the team did not let down in round two of the Best in the Desert Series.  Drawing 3rd off the line, Trent Beaver quickly went to work on the field, passing the two race leaders by the end of the first race mile.  Not letting up until the finish, Trent bested his field by over 19 minutes to take his first victory.

“Winning is something I have always been determined to do, but winning a race in just my third career start is something I could have never dreamed of!” quoted Beaver.  “I know that it would have never been possible without the PMC Racing crew doing such an awesome job of prepping the truck.  I was just the man behind the steering wheel.”

Look for PMC Racing to be at full strength for the remainder of the Best in the Desert season, returning to fielding two trucks once again.  With lots of recent testing, Trent’s older brother Jim Beaver looks to put the new truck bugs to rest in the team’s #15 PMC Racing Ford F-150 Trophy Truck.  Trent continues to gain valuable experience every time out in his truck, also gathering a wealth of knowledge from 32 year off-road veteran Dan Beaver, who is at the helm of operations for PMC Racing.

PMC Racing would like to thank their sponsors: Parker Motor Company, KC HiLites, Ford Trucks, Goodyear Tires, TNC Machine, Penn Sign, Reily’s Race Wire, Dick Towing, MSD Ignition, Mogi Trans, Parker Pumper, Racer X, and Liquid Ice Energy Drink.
