Dezert People 4 World Tour Kicks Off Huge In The OC

Dezert People 4 film makers, Curtis Guise and Klaus Rasch, have much to smile about after their DP4 World Tour kicked off at The Shark Club in Orange County, California. Hundreds of fans, racers and the industry arrived gussied up for the occasion. This just debuted film is the fourth in the Dezert People Series and the buzz among the crowd was superb. Many industry insiders, including race teams, corporate sponsors and the movers and shakers of the off road racing world smiled as DP4 has raised the bar for off road racing films. FOX Racing Shox Manager – Todd Tenbrok said, “They really nailed it in this film. They’ve certainly raised the stakes in the world of off road racing movies.”

FOX Racing Shox has been a big supporter of the Dezert People film series and Dezert People 4 certainly has a strong FOX Racing Shox flavor throughout the movie. Shot throughout the United States, Mexico and Australia the film depicts the incredible passion associated with off road desert racing. JIMCO Racing Team Manager, Matt Loiodice explained, “The remote locales that our sport travels in some of the most technologically advanced race cars in the world sets what we do apart from any other motor sports. We’ve brought the entire JIMCO crew here to The Shark Club and this film kicks ass.”
The Shark Club features a massive salt water aquarium filled with eels and sharks. Although, the fish didn’t steal the show, their methodical slow roam through the tank entertained film goers throughout the club.

DirtNewz caught up with filmmaker – Klaus Rasch later in the evening and he said, “Of course our passion is producing a quality film that not only entertains, but that demonstrates the passion associated with off road motor sports. Whether in Mexico, Australia or Africa the passion linked with off road racing is the same. Off road racing has no borders and that’s one thing we strive to bring to our films.”
The Dezert People 4 World Tour continues to Oceanside, California on Sunday evening where thousands of fans are expected to pack the Oceanside Drive-In for the first outdoor showing of the movie. DirtNewz will be on hand providing you with the latest happenings from the off road racing world.
