10:00 am BITD Time Trial Update

Time Trials have come to an end here in Jean, Nevada proving there will be carnage on the course tomorrow. BITD has announced that the official results will not be posted until 3pm today. We will bring you the results as soon as we get them from the BITD officials. Carnage at time trials was the talk of the town here this morning, and we're here to bring you the scoop live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Matt Scaroni and "Turbo Tom" Geivess were flying high in their #27 SMD Motorsports Trick Truck this morning until they blew their power steering, causing them to fall back in the starting order for tomorrow's race. They will definitely have their work cut out for them in the morning.
  • Andy McMillin, driving the #31 McMillin Homes Truck this weekend, blew out his throttle cable during time trials. They are fixing the truck now and will be on a mission tomorrow as they try to make their way from the back of vicious racers to the clean air out in front.
  • John Herder once again proved to be the "King of the Desert" having a flawless run. John will be in search of his 3rd consecutive win here at BITD this season.
  • Jesse Jones and his co-driver "Bizkit" ran out in front of the pack in their #76 Fabtech/ Toyo Tires truck. Jesse will be splitting time with Jeff Quinn for this race.
  • Rob MacCachren also had an outstanding run during time trials, look for him to be in the front of the pack tomorrow.
  • "Pistol Pete" Sohren, leading the points race, was a no show at time trials and will not be racing to defend his current points lead.
