Parker 425 • February 5, 2009 – Qualifying has come to an end with Rob MacCachren in the #1502 of Steve Sourapas leading the pack. MacCachren got behind the wheel of the #1502 Corona Extra RPS Class 1500 and drove the wheels off it to capture the lead and the premier spot for Saturday's race. MacCachren will be the first vehicle to take the green flag as it drops for BITD's season opener. He will then hand the car off to owner Steve Sourapas and get behind the wheel of the FORD Raptor and bring it home to the finish.
John Herder in his Speed Technologies/Bully Dog Jimco Class 1500 was close behind. Herder is spliting the driving duties with Chuck Dempsey who commented,"I excited to be splitting the driving duties with John Herder. This is his backyard and he is one bad ass driver so he will start the race and try to get it to me in one piece and I think we can pull off a win out here."
Rounding out the top three FOX Racing Shox Qualifiers was Trick Truck driver Andy McMillin. McMillin rallied around the qualifying course and leads the pack of Trick Truck drivers at the end of the day. Andy will start third off the line behind the two Class 1500 drivers and in front of a hungry pack of Trick Trucks, all ready to hit the DIRT in Parker.
FOX Racing Shox proved to be the suspension needed in Parker this weekend as the top three qualifiers are all outfitted with FOX Racing Shox.
