2008 King of the Hammers Champion Shannon Campbell Ready to Rock Once Again

Gilbert, AZ (February 21, 2009) – Team Campbell Racing along with Todd from Fox Racing Shocks spent two days out in Johnson Valley, CA testing the new IFS rock racing buggy. Campbell made several passes through the desert sections and several adjustments later commented, “This thing is an animal, I think it’s going to do very well.” As for the rock sections the buggy navigated through the waterfalls on the infamous “Backdoor” without a hitch.

This year Campbell Racing has three cars entered in the 2009 KING OF THE HAMMERS: Shannon in the new IFS buggy, Casey Currie will be navigating last year’s single seat car and Rob McKenny and Nick Campbell will be driving the two-seat Pro Mod car.

Campbell’s plan for defending his 2008 King of the Hammers title is to drive consistent and use his head.

The IFS buggy was definitely a huge project but with the support of all of our sponsors it came together. Thank You for all your superior product and Support!

Team Campbell heads to the Lakebed Monday February 23rd to get set up and prepare for Friday’s race.

See you all at the races!
