DIRTnewz: DIRTnewz Chase 1 is set up at Racemile 33 and we are putting up $100 dollars that Rob MacCachren in the #20 Rockstar Trophy Truck will be in the lead around Clyde Stout who obviously (based on his comments in public at the SCORE Media Conference yesterday) is already worried about trying to keep the reigns on Rob Mac.
Andy McMillin and Todd Tenbroek are PRIMED for an EPIC run here in Baja as is Jesse JONES who is our 3-1 WildCard pick for the victory.
The action will start in about 45 minutes and we expect Trophy Trucks in Ojos in 1.5 hours!Get some!

DIRTnewz: DIRTnewz Chase 1 in the field at Ojos Negros reporting 2 hours of single lane backed up traffic because the Mexican Army Checkpoint stopping every single car and conducting searches on all cars.
We saw a girl from San Dimas named Pearl and we caught up with her, apparently she jumped off the 2 hour traffic back up and took a dirt road alongside the road to the Pemex station and then she snuck around the Pemex towards the Army checkpoint.
She said that she inched into the traffic and looked over and saw a FORD Raptor with 20 inch wheels also trying to inch into traffic but the single lane traffic would not let anyone that cut in through the dirt onto the highway. So she sat for a few and the windows on the FORD Raptor came down and Pearl smiled at the driver, who was none other than JESSE JAMES as a spectator.
JESSE JAMES allowed PEARL to cut in front of him and she said they saved about two hours of stopped traffic. We told PEARL that move might get her hired to the Baja DIRTNEWZ chase team.
The traffic is horrible, but Pearl and the DIRTnewz crew are good to go!
