RIP riders have just rolled in with a ton more stories rolling in. It looks like a few more riders took hard hits in the last section of the night. A fellow rider was messing with OX, sideswiped him and took him out. They are reporting that OX barrel rolled but he rode it in. OX is standing right here all good, a little sore but will ride tomorrow.

Mike Ewy has been checked out at the hospital here in Guerrero Negro and he has no broken bones. We reported earlier that he had a broken collar bone but that is not the case. Ewy is a little shaken up and very sore but will be just fine.

Riders gearing up as we update and heading back out on the trail. We will catch up with them at the next stop and fill you in on the latest happenings.

Just reported from the riders that Mike Ewy crashed hard on the trail and has a broken coller bone but is okay. He rode out to the lunch spot and is in the chase truck and heading to get checked out at the medical center less than an hour away in Guerrero Negro.

Ewy crashed into a bunch of cactus and will be okay but has ended his ride for the day.

Riders still have approximately 65 miles to go to reach the final destination tonight. They have done 120 miles today and are heading back out in the dirt after about a 30 minute lunch break

Looks like the riders will be heading in any time now, they are just going through Punta Prieta. Today has been much longer than everyone was anticipating and we will have to wait and see if they will stick to the plan or change it to an easier route as they leave here and head towards Guerrero Negro. Cameron Steele generally likes to end the day around sunset but it looks like the riders will be in the dirt into the night tonight.

We still have yet to hear from the riders. We are getting updates saying they are all good but rider Brian Busby is telling us that he has riden on the track that they are on now and it is ROUGH!!!
