Phil's Incorporated now offers HD Diesel Truck Clutch Kits from 
Competition Clutch

Evanston, IL (November 26, 2007) - For heavy hauling, high horsepower or high torque trucks, often the standard original equipment clutch  does not deliver. Phil's Incorporated now offers Heavy Duty Diesel  Truck Clutch kits from Competition Clutch. Competition Clutch has  designed high-torque heavy-duty disc assemblies to resolve problems  associated with standard OE capacity units.

Competition Clutch mates its superior disc design with three friction  options to match the horsepower, torque, and pulling requirements  inherent with the diesel truck market.

Brass Plus (Avg 600-800ft-lbs torque) The CCI Brass Plus Friction  with Steel Backing is an upgrade for moderate towing and horsepower. This clutch assembly will deliver heavy duty performance with original  clutch drivability and extended like as a result of the HD disc design 
and the superior characteristics of the friction material.

Iron Button (Avg 800-1200 ft-lbs torque) The CCI IronMan button  option handles the high torque and high horsepower requirements  similar to the Ceramic, but the IronMan material is slightly smoother  and more forgiving during engagement. The IronMan, though more  expensive, is designed to guarantee smoothness of drivability and is  less likely NOT to damage additional drivetrain components and  assemblies when engaged in severe duty clutch requirements.

Ceramic Button (Avg 800-1200ft-lbs torque) The CCI Ceramic button  friction offers a severe duty disc upgrade for heavy towing, and  situations where a slipping clutch is not an option. Buyer beware,  this clutch assembly is not the weak link between the engine and  transmission.
