Congress, Arizona (January 8, 2007) : The reigning world rockcrawling champion, FABTECH's Tracy Jordan, captured his 19th professional rockcrawling victory on the rocks of Congress, Arizona on Sunday afternoon. Facing some of the most difficult obstacles that have challenged teams in the past year, Jordan overcame a poor start and roared from behind to take the win.
The 2006 season ended in early December at the Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona where Jordan fought off the nightmares of his near death experience on two weeks prior at the famed SCORE Baja 1000.

Jordan was selected as one of four BFGoodrich Tires Superstars to race in a Wide Open Baja Challenge Car and he joined Freestyle superstar, Kenny Bartram, for the second half of the race. Jordan completed his section and swapped places with Bartram who subsequently drove off a near 300 foot cliff in the winding mountains outside of Loreto, Baja California, Mexico. Both drivers survived the scary ride, however, Jordan announced to the world that it was the closest he had ever come to death.
Only weeks later, the consummate professional arrived to UROC Supercrawl bruised and battered, but displaying a fierce competitive spirit, enough to lead him to victory.
With only a five-week off season, the man they call, "The Steel Horse Cowboy," has done it again with a commanding come from behind win at the 2007 professional rockcrawling opener, WE Rock's Put Up or Shut Up.
Facing an international contingent of the world's top teams, Jordan put his single-seat moonbuggy featuring BFGoodrich Tires and FOX Racing Shox up the most difficult obstacles to capture the victory.
This win marks his 19th career win in professional rockcrawling that spans nearly 10 years. Jordan has battled his way to the top during the past four years competing head-to-head with the likes of Jon Bundrant, Shannon Campbell, Jason Paule, Jason Scherer, Cody Waggoner,Mitch Guthrie, his nemisis - Don "The Maverick" Robbins and many more.
Leading a distinguished group of winners in capturing this important win, Jordan appears to be well on his way to his 20th victory early in 2007.
