May 8, 2008 –DIRTnewz is proud to present a 2008 web-based reality show that will air exclusively on DIRTnewz following each CORR race weekend.  The show features Monster Energy’s Johnny Greaves and Shannon Campbell, FABTECH's Rick Huseman, Bully Dog’s Josh Baldwin and Jeremy McGrath and Pro Lite racer Casey Currie, Rockstar’s Rob MacCachren, Nissan / UPR’s Todd Cuffaro, along with CORR Officials, Speed TV Production team members, and those that make the life during a CORR race incredibly entertaining. 

“Beyond The Dirt” is really only the beginning,” explained DIRTnewz founder and publisher, Tim Sanchez. 

“The digital world is absolutely incredible and it’s growing bigger and faster than any other industry in the universe.  I’ve been preaching it for four or five years and we are now starting to experience the depth of the digital age.  We believe the digital universe will continue to push the envelope with the advancement of technology and you can be sure that DIRTnewz will continue to participate and grow with this evolution.  Last year we were streaming race footage to the web and now with CORR securing live television during over half of the race season, you have to look forward and realize that Jim Baldwin and his CORR staff will have more television in the very near future, that same television package that is soon coming to the web.’

“The DIRTnewz team is led by our Editor-in-Chief, Brittany Sanchez, my 23-year old daughter, and she brings the youth movement to the forefront with DIRTnewz.  After the season ended last year, we kicked the idea around of a web-based reality show around and I thought that we’d have to overcome some big hurdles to make it happen, but it has really just fell in place.’

“Our corporate partners have embraced our vision and we are excited about the 20 plus web-isodes that we’ll produce throughout the season of race.  Featuring the best-of-the-best isn’t all that hard I guess, until you get down to the logistics and start putting it all together.  Racers like Johnny Greaves, Rob MacCachren, Todd Cuffaro, Casey Currie, Josh Baldwin and Rick Huseman are more than happy to get in front of the camera so the key of course is being in the right place at the right time.  But having these racers open up there lives wide-open to a bunch of camera guys in order to capture the show is another thing.’

“The biggest thing that impresses me is how Brittany and the crew have stepped up to produce and direct this web show on their own.  There is not a full-time production company involved, no budding Academy Award producers and directors, it’s the same people that have been bringing you the DIRTnewz Show for the past few years, but they’ve put a different spin on what’s happening at the CORR races.  The season is just starting to unfold and with the second weekend of racing only a few days away, you can be sure the next 4-5 webisodes are going to be full of heart and soul.”

The show will feature the trials and tribulations of off road racing in its fast and furriest environment. DIRTnewz will dig deep into the ditches of America's most intense off road racing series and show you what happens when it all goes good and when it goes bad.
