April 23, 2008 BOSCH Power Tools has teamed up with Barlow Motorsports/Team Red Bull to represent the mammoth power tool brand in CORR off-road racing. The Barlow Motorsports/Team Red Bull consists of a two truck team featuring motocross legend Ricky Johnson driving the number nine Pro-2 and desert champion Steve Barlow driving the number two Pro-4. BOSCH Power Tools and Barlow Motorsports/Team Red Bull entered into a multi-year sponsorship deal designed to integrate the BOSCH Power Tool brand and products into off-road racing culture. The sponsorship will serve to further strengthen an already dominant team.

The Barlow Motorsports/Team Red Bull off-road team is owned and operated by driver/owner Steve Barlow. The team has more wins than any other group in CORR history, with fifteen total podiums and seven first-place finishes. Team owner/driver Steve Barlow had this to say about the new sponsor: “We are really happy with the relationship. We have been speaking with BOSCH for sometime and we feel it is a perfect fit. BOSCH has a well deserved reputation for making great power tools. We look at all our sponsors as partners in our team. This relationship goes far beyond simply placing a sticker on the trucks. We are set on facilitating BOSCH Power Tools in becoming the standard power tool of choice in off-road market.”

“We are really excited to be working with Barlow Motorsports/Team Red Bull. We have been watching the CORR series for sometime and we think they make a great fit for the BOSCH brand. We are looking forward to an exciting year of racing with lots of podiums!” stated Randall Coe, VP of Marketing for BOSCH.
