– Probst Motorsports is pleased to announce
Team Lucas as the primary partner for the #99 PRO-2WD
driven by Kevin Probst, and the # 5 PRO-Light driven by
Jon Probst. Team Lucas is a marketing partnership including
Lucas Oil Products and the following partners; Jim Beam,
Dixie Choppers, E3 Spark Plugs, R&L Carriers, K&N
Filters, General Tire, and Super Clean. The Probst team
will alternate different sponsors throughout the 2008
WSORR season starting in Wheatland Mo., at the Lucas Oil
Speedway sponsored by E3 Spark Plugs.
“We are very excited to have Lucas Oil and Team
Lucas involved with our team this season”, said
Kevin Probst, “The Team Lucas program has given
our team the ability to showcase the Team Lucas partners
at individual events throughout the 2008 Season”.
The start of the 2008 World Series of Off Road Racing
tour begins this weekend at the Lucas Oil Speedway. E3
Spark Plugs will be carried on the team’s race trucks
in addition to several of the Team Lucas partners and
will be rotated throughout the season as needed.
The Probst Team will still carry the Simply Wow degreaser
as an associate partner and Toyo Tires as our tire partner.
This will be our 2nd year with Simply Wow and the new
products keep coming. This year will feature a permanent
tire shine called Impossible Shine, that the team will
test at the races on the race trucks as well as the complete
lineup of all natural cleaning and detailing products
from Source Direct, the manufacturer of the Simply Wow
family.
Toyo Tires will be back for the 4th season with the Probst
Motorsports Team. The Team will race the Toyo Open Country
MT tires throughout the 2008 WSORR season. “We are
once again delighted to continue our relationship with
Toyo Tires,” said Kevin Probst “The tires
have proven to be a genuine performance advantage for
our team, and the toughness of the Open Country line is
second to none”.
Another addition to the team in 2008 is HTP America,
with a full line of Mig and Tig Welding equipment and
accessories as well as Plasma cutting equipment. “We
have been using HTP Welders for over 20 years” said
Kevin Probst “the addition of HTP to our team with
the new Invertig 201 was very cool”. The team used
the new pulse style Tig welder to fabricate the new U-Weld
Pro 2 truck to be driven by Kevin. Come by the pits at
the races to check out the versatility of this lightweight
unit.
