Primm, NV(Nov 13, 2009) Short course racers have invaded Primm, Nevada for the season finale of the 2009 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Todd LeDuc, who just finished 3rd in the TORC series, set the fast lap in the Unlimited 2 class ahead of Bryce Menzies, Carl Renezeder, Jeff Ward and Rodrigo Ampudia. Robert Naughton debuted his Canadai Unlimited 2 this weekend and qualified strong 9th out of 20 racers. Carl Renezeder continued his Unlimited 4 domination with a fast lap of 54.096 ahead of Adrian Cenni, Tim Herbst, Kyle LeDuc, and Alan Pflueger.

Rob MacCachren was forced to the back of the pack after LOORS officials didn't get a reading from his transponder. Unbeknown to the Rockstar Racing Team of Rob MacCachren his transponder didn't work during the first practice session either. LOORS officials took his times with a stop watch and didn't pass the word to Rob MacCachren or any of the members of his crew. MacCachren then went out for qualifying thinking that there were no issues and LOORS officials still didn't say a word to his spotter, until after qualifying was over and they reported that Rob MacCachren in the #21 Rockstar Energy MasterCraft Safety Unlimited 2 would be forced to start in the back of the pack.

Robert Naughton, a proven Unlimited Lite driver, has stepped up his program and is debuting his all new Canadai #54 Unlimited 2 here in Primm this weekend. Naughton ran strong in the first practice and qualified in 9th position out of the 20 truck field. Naughton stayed strong in the Unlimited Lite class taking the top spot and putting himself on the pole for tomorrow's race.
