Bark River, Michigan - Leading a ROCKSTAR Energy lifestyle, Rob MacCachren arrived to the Bark River International Raceway located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan readied for battle for the TORC Series season championship. MacCachren is gunning for the overall TORC Series points lead before he leaves Michigan.

It was only 10 days ago that the ROCKSTAR Energy Racing team packed up the glossy red race hauler from the Lucas Oil Series Rounds 7-8 hosted at Miller Motorsports Park outside of Salt Lake City, Utah and headed west to California.

Rob explained, “We came off a very long race weekend in Utah and the team headed to the race shop in California. We’ve worked hard in preparation for this Michigan race. This track has always been one of my favorites and we have a really good truck this weekend. Our ROCKSTAR Energy Racing crew is powered by the world’s most powerful energy drink and they have needed it during the past two weeks. We are only 2 points behind the leader in the points race and we’ve unloaded a well-prepped race truck for what I expect to be a great weekend of racing.”

MacCachren has a dominating 37-point lead the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Series in the Unlimited Pro 2 class, but here the TORC Series, he is tied with Jeff Kincaid for the second spot and they both trail the leader by only 2 points.

At the season opener just one month ago at Crandon International Raceway, Rob earned two consistent second place finishes that kicked off the season for the reigning TORC Pro 2 Champion.

“We are excited about the remainder of the season,” said crew chief Jim Blackmore. “This team is committed to win championships and we are always working towards making the ROCKSTAR/BFGoodrich Tires/MasterCraft Safety Ford F-150 faster each and every race.”

Thusfar in 2010 season, when combining the two series, Rob MacCachren has won four of the ten races, but an even more interesting statistic is he has finished on the podium nine out of ten races.

Powered by ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, the race team has been full speed ahead since early June when they trekked across the United States to the north woods of Wisconsin for the season opener. They prepped the #21 race truck at the Crandon International Raceway track and immediately headed to the Lucas Oil race in Utah. And after four days of racing they headed back to the race shop in California for a few days of nonstop work. This weekend the race team is racing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and in two weeks they head to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for yet another race weekend.

Rob smiled and commented, “Our race team wouldn’t have it any other way. We are racing for championships and to earn championships, it takes hard work, dedication and lots of miles both on the race track and on the highways of the United States.”
