San Felipe, Baja, Mexico (March 15, 2006)
To all our family , team , sponsors and fans, San Felipe 250 was a finish and a 3rd place finish for Regulator racing # 838 , congratulations to Noah and Kevin who navigated the truck thru the nasty terrain's of san Felipe, silt beds, rock crawling, mountain terrain , dry lake beds and don't for get about the parting of the red sea at zoo road crossing. Thanks to all of the crew which also got the truck to the finish with all of there help on repairs, chase support and Miggie motorsports which put together a race program for them from our 10 years of race experience at the san Felipe 250, also Chad and Brain from miggie motorsports gave there assistance in pre-run and chase knowledge .#838 started 10th in class 8 was running real good till mile marker 26 threw a drive shaft, got that repaired and back on course again. All running great until went into the famous Matomi wash and got it stuck was able to maneuver thru it slowly with those awesome BFG project tires and eventually got up going at speed again. At the last stretch for the finish had 2nd place locked in but picked up a flat in the dump area and had to settle for 3rd place still a fantastic finish, seeing that they started in 10th place in class and roughly 7 to 8 classes back as well, Good job team !!!! Dinner at El Nido time.
Well see you all at the Baja 500 , Miggie motorsports and Regulator racing will be teaming up to take home a 1st place trophy in : Trophy and 8 truck classes, look for us at the podium.
