SCORE announces agreement with American Racing
To be the Official Wheel of 2006 SCORE Desert Series

On the eve of this weekend's record-setting 38th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 500, American Racing has become the Official Wheel of the SCORE Desert Series, it was announced today by Sal Fish, SCORE President/CEO.
Round 3 of the six-race SCORE Desert Series, the World's Foremost Desert Racing Series, will be held this weekend in Ensenada, Mexico and American Racing will be recognized as the newest member of SCORE's growing family of sponsorship partners.
"SCORE is honored to be able to partner with American Racing and we look forward to helping them with additional research and development for their great lineup of products, especially the new ATX series of wheels," said Sal Fish, SCORE President/CEO. "American Racing has been extremely visible for nearly 30 years in and around SCORE desert racing and we are enthusiastic about helping to showcase the company as one of our select group of sponsorship partners. We will work closely with American Racing to develop a fully integrated marketing plan."
This weekend's motorsports spectacular will feature a race-record lineup of over 440 entries competing in 25 Pro and 6 Sportsman classes for cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs, will be held this weekend in Ensenada, Mexico. The race will be filmed for television by Aura360, SCORE'S TV production partner, to air in December as a one-hour special on NBC in the U.S. and ESPN International worldwide.

The 2006 SCORE Desert Series includes the chase for the $50,000 Kartek Off-Road contingency bonus to be awarded to several qualified 2006 SCORE Class point champions.
The 2006 SCORE Desert Series also includes the hunt for the annual Toyota Milestone and $12,000 Toyota True Grit Awards. The prestigious Toyota Milestone Awards are presented to every racer who completes every required mile of every race in the 2006 SCORE Desert Series. The $12,000 Toyota True Grit purse is split among the SCORE season point champions who are also Toyota Milestone award winners in several non-factory-backed classes.
