October 8, 2007– The 8th annual Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota was a huge hit for all motorsports fans in and around Southern California. Hundreds of vehicles and products were showcased at this years event which was even larger than last year, nearly all the halls were filled with the latest off road products, race cars, pre runners, and accessories.

This years Off-Road Expo not only filled motorsports fans of all kinds with knowledge of new products but kept them entertained with shows and activities all weekend long. The first ever Toyota FJ Cruiser Ride and Drive event was going on all weekend in the middle of the race track adjacent to the UROC RockCross races. Off Road enthusiasts were able to get behind the wheel and take the new FJ Cruiser's thru the dirt and over the rocks to get a real taste of what it's like to be off road in a Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Many booths were filled with FJ Cruiser accessories, including the much talked about FJ Cruiser Roof Tent.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded halls, Monster Energy's Shannon Campbell put on a show for race fans that made their way out to the UROC RockCross event just a stone throw away from the Toyota Ride and Drive challenge. Check out the full story on what happened on the rocks here.

Bully Dog also wanted a part of this weekends excitement and held the Bully Dog Diesel Dyno Shootout. The diesel with the highest rating of horsepower and foot-pounds of torque would walk away with bragging rights and some great prizes.

Manufacturers from all over the world came to this years Off-Road Expo to debut new products along with old but favorite ones. Some got a chance to play the all new video game DIRT. A game with unbelievable graphics that make you feel like you are actually fighting for the lead around the first turn at Crandon, or making your way thru the traffic at Chula Vista. If you have a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, this game is a must have.

The Fab School's booth was a big hit at this years Off-Road Expo. They were the only booth to have a complete on site welding station. The Fab School instructors were on hand to give anyone interested a quick welding lesson, or allow for those who already knew how to weld to have a little fun. The Fab School recently took on a project for Wide Open Baja and are building all of the Baja Challenge a-arms for this years 40th SCORE Baja 1000, they led demonstrations throughout the day as they continued to build the arms right in their booth!
