January 19, 2008 - Despite the low number of entries at the 2008 MORE season opener the racers that made their way out to Barstow, Ca put on a show at the MORE Kartek Dash this weekend.
Ron Brant made his way to the front of the field within the first few miles and began to jet away from the entire pack. Brant had a five minute lead on the entire field and broke with only a few laps to go.

Sean Dunn, who entered his single seat Class 10 car in both Class 1 and Class 10 moved into the lead but had his work cut out for him. Dunn went back and forth until the very end with Team Nitro Circus who finished second in class and second overall. Dunn captured both the Class 1 and Class 10 victories.

The 1-2/1600 Class had the largest field with over 15 cars. Lorenzo Rodriquez pulled away from everyone and threatened the race leader with an overall victory. Richard Garavito/ Rulo Solano, 2007 MORE 5/1600 Champions, were right behind him in their ORAF #1255 charging around the 18 mile course with style. These two made record time and will be a team to watch as the year progresses.
