November 3, 2008 — Mopar, Chrysler LLC's Global Service & Parts division, will unveil Team Mopar driver Samuel Hübinette's much anticipated 2009 Mopar Drift Dodge Challenger during the 2008 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, scheduled for Nov. 4–7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The unveiling will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m. PST in Mopar Booth # 43129 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Team Mopar driver and two-time Formula Drift champion Hübinette and Shaun Carlson, NuFormz Racing team owner, will participate in the reveal. SpeedFreaks host Kenny Sargent will emcee the proceedings, with remarks by Steve Shugg, Director of Sales and Marketing, Mopar. The "M" Bar in the Mopar Booth will be open immediately following the unveiling.
Mopar has even more on tap for SEMA Show attendees. Mopar Underground, SRT Engineering and other vehicles will be on display in the Mopar exhibit. The Mopar Alley, located between the North and South halls, will feature the 2008 Mopar Top Eliminator vehicles, showcasing the most skilled Mopar enthusiasts and their restyled or customized Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge vehicles. Also, the Mopar Alley will spotlight the "Evolution of the Dodge Ram" and "Evolution of the Dodge Challenger" with vehicles from the past and present representing the progression of both models.
A Team Mopar autograph session will take place in the Mopar Booth at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Show attendees will have the chance to meet Team Mopar drivers Gary Scelzi, Allen Johnson, Samuel Hübinette, Brian Collins, Chuck Hovey, Brad Sweet, Brady Bacon and Cindi Lux. Blues-rock star guitarist and noted Mopar enthusiast Kenny Wayne Shepherd will also sign autographs in the Mopar Booth on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.
