2008 Tecate SCORE Baja 500 wins Xtremey Award

Coverage of race considered one of the most epic in Baja history garners industry recognition
PORTLAND, Maine--- The broadcast of the 2008 SCORE Baja 500 was awarded the Xtremey Award for Best Broadcast Competition on Tuesday night at the Shark Club in Costa Mesa, California. Coordinating producer Stephanie “Sam” Haber was on hand to accept the award for Aura360 Ventures, the Executive Producers of the broadcast. “It is a great honor for us to be recognized by the off road industry. This award is one that we share with Sal Fish and SCORE International, our sponsors and of course the fans that voted for our broadcast” said Rufus Frost, Managing Partner at Aura360 Ventures and its video production affiliate 360 Productions.
The race coverage of the 2008 Tecate SCORE Baja 500 was filmed in conjunction with Aura360’s video production arm, 360 Productions and returned to the majestic Baja Peninsula to chronicle the 40th running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 500. In an unprecedented race to the finish the sport’s most tested veterans were challenged by a young contender in one of the most compelling conclusions in recent memory and one in which the difference between first and second place honors was decided by seconds. In the end, B.J. Baldwin defeated the veteran team of Mark Post and Rob MacCachren by just seven seconds in the elapsed time race.
