April 28-May 2, 2010 - NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally - Mexicali, Baja, Mexico
Three day Special Stage Rally format from Mexicali to La Paz. Vintage vehicles and All-Star Drivers. Baja Challenge vehicles set up in the Alternative Fuel Class with full support you are accustomed to from Wide Open.

June 4-6, 2010 - Tecate SCORE Baja 500 - Ensenada, Baja, Mexico

This year will mark the 42nd running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 starting in the beautiful oceanside city of Ensenada, Mexico. Last year our Ensenada based support crew finished second in Class 1 running in a Baja Challenge Race Car!

August 19-21, 2010 - BITD TSCO "Vegas to Reno" (V2R) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

"The longest off-road race in the United States." This race will challenge even the most seasoned racers as man and machine battle the harsh terrain and extreme weather elements. But expect a party as this race kicks off in the "City of Sin" Las Vegas and ends in "The Biggest Little City in the World," Reno.

October 9 & 10, 2010 - MORE Powder Puff Race - Barstow, California, USA

This one is for the ladies! This "Women Only" race was created to help in the fight against Breast Cancer. All proceeds from the race benefit breast cancer research at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Since the girls are in the drivers seat, you might get to see a bunch of crew guys in dresses changing tires!

November 17-21, 2010 - Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 - Ensenada, Baja, Mexico
The "Granddaddy of all Off-Road Racing" is back for its 43rd Annual Running. This year is one of those special years when the race starts in Ensenada and ends in La Paz (in Southern Baja). You'll be telling your grand kids about this over and over when sitting in the "Ol' Folks Home." The point-to-point Baja 1000 races always seem to bring out all the media and celebrities, so let's get ready to roll!

New Southern Baja Race Series

For the first time ever Wide Open is going to offer complete race packages in Southern Baja which includes multiple days of pre-running (practice) and end with actually competing in a sanctioned race!

Five races, competing in two different series with all the support and training to be competitive...

Single race packages starting around $8k make this a great way to get started in the sport! Call your Adventure Consultant for more details.

Southern Baja Racing Schedule:

April 31-May 1, 2010 - Pro-Baja Dos Mares 500 - Sea of Cortez, Baja Sur, Mexico
Called the "Two Seas," this is one of the local favorite races, covering 500 of some of the best and most spectacular kilometers in Southern Baja. A fake start along the main strip in La Paz around 2:00pm lets you truly feel the passion that the locals have for the sport, whilst the true start in San Juan de la Costa at 4:00pm makes this mostly a night race, starting up the Sea of Cortez and racing back down the Pacific side.

June 19-20, 2010 - Pro-Baja Coyote 300 - La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico
This is a 300km, normally set on Mexican Father's Day, to ensure a great celebration feel throughout the day. The race starts in La Paz on Sunday morning, heads towards the magical town of Todos Santos before making a loop through some very tight and technical mountain trails back towards La Paz. The finish is traditionally on the Tecolote Beach in La Paz, where live music and bikini contests add to the electric atmosphere.

August 4-5, 2010 - U-Pro Loreto Desert Run - Loreto, Baja Sur, Mexico
A very scenic and fun desert run, between 300 and 400km, from Loreto around Comondu back into Loreto. Starts and finishes running in the famous Wide Open "No Play Zone" of treacherous switchback mountain climbs toward the San Javier Mission. Although breathtaking, this is not for the faint of heart, as it can be HOT...VERY HOT!!!

August 28-29, 2010 - U-Pro Pueblo Magico 300 - Cabo San Lucas, Baja Sur, Mexico
A 300km race starting in the East Cape, one of the top fishing and tourist areas in Southern Baja. The race course will pass the Naranjos Mountain Range before coming into the Todos Santos area then back towards Cabo San Lucas.

October 15-17, 2010 - U-Pro Southern Baja 1000 - Cabo San Lucas, Baja Sur, Mexico
This is Southern Baja's own version of the Baja 1000, although this will be 1000 kilometers (not miles). The route is still to be determined, however the organizers are proposing to make the loop start and finish in Cabo, which always ensures a perfect pre and post party atmosphere! This will also be a great hands on training run to get some race miles under your belt before the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.

It's Time To Step Up and Prove It Call Wide Open Today To Find Out How...
