OBJECTIVE:
To announce to the Media the inclusion of two most important Tourism and Sports events; the
Rosarito-Ensenada Bicycle Ride and the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 as part of the celebrations to
commemorate the Bicentennial of the Independence and the Centennial of the Revolution of
Mexico in Baja California.
The Rosarito-Ensenada Bicycle Ride is one of the most important events in the tourism calendar in Baja California with a tradition over 30 years. This event takes place twice a year in April and September and it gathers approximately 5 thousand bikers from Southern California per ride. It is a 50 mile recreational ride along Highway 1, starting in Rosarito and ending in Ensenada with a party at the heart of town.
The Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 is without a doubt the most emblematic and important event in Off-Road Motorsports in the world. It has a 40 year history and tradition that has made Baja California the Off-Road capital of the world. Every year this race along with the SCORE San Felipe 250 and the SCORE Baja 500 gathers hundreds of racers from all over the world as well as thousands of spectators that see the race at incredible locations of the state of Baja California. This year the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 will start in Ensenada, Baja California and finish in La Paz, Baja California Sur.
