Scott Douglas Captures
Victory in Pro-4 at the Borg Warner World Championships
DirtNewz Staff -

Crandon, Wisconsin (September 2, 2006) Scott
Douglas ran away from the field today in his Pro-4 and then
got in his Pro-2 to capture another podium finish for Amsoil
and Rancho. Douglas took the holeshot in his Pro-4 and never
let off, he led wire-to-wire fending off some of the best
racers in the world. Huseman, Greaves, and the rest of the
Pro-4 field put the pressure on Douglas but he didn't give
up.

Huseman, having set a new track record for the
fastest lap here at Crandon International Raceway, put on
a show for his fans today. Rick will be out in force for tomorrow's
Pro-4 race and Borg Warner Championship looking for his first
win of the season.
History was made in the Pro-2 race today as
Mike Oberg took home his first win in his newly built Pro-2.
Mike and his crew are ecstatic over this win and are pumped
up, going through the truck in hopes of a repeat in Round
12 tomorrow morning.

Todd Leduc put his truck (with brand new paint
scheme) through the paces this afternoon as he went into this
round only 6 points behind the points leader, Jerry Whelchel.
Leduc held on to second place the entire race never missing
a beat, and moved ahead in the points race. Jerry and Todd
will be battling it out tomorrow as they head into round 12
of the 2006 Lucas Oil Pro-2 series. They are both looking
to win their first ever Pro-2 Series Championships and have
been back and forth all season long. Look for these two to
be rubbing bumpers all day tomorrow, in Round 12 and in the
12th annual Borg Warner World Championships.

Rookie Rodrigo Ampudia in his Papas & Beer
Pro-Lite #36 took home his first ever victory today. This
is Rodrigo's first year racing in the CORR series and he has
been on a mission to take home victory since the very beginning.
The Papa's & Beer team is led by the one and only "Lechero"
who used to be the crew chief for Curt LeDuc.

Points Leaders, Chad Hord and Jeff Kincaid,
both had rough days out on the track today. In the first turn
Chad Hord turned his truck up on it's lid trying to pass Kyle
Leduc in the first turn, which took him out of the race. Jeff
Kincaid went into this race in search of another win to take
home and add to the collection, and also keep his lead in
the series. He may have kept his lead in the points but he
succumbed to a blown motor today and didn't finish the race.
Check out our live race action tomorrow beginning
at 11:15 am CST/ 9:15 am PST.
