EJS Manufacturers Show Opens in Moab
Moab, Utah (April 13, 2006)
Moab’s Spanish Trail Arena was busy this morning as the nation’s top off road manufacturers have set up their displays for the thousands of participants to view at the 40th Annual Easter Jeep Safari. Products ranging from Howe Steering Performance to FABTECH lift kits for all off road vehicles are all shined up and ready for the dirt nation to play with here in the hub of the American Jeep paradise. The DirtNewz paparazzi are here mingling with the crowds, as well as the manufacturers in search of the latest products for you’re off road vehicle. Hundreds of products are available here at the Easter Jeep Safari. Throughout the day DirtNewz will provide you with the latest information from the show here at the 40th Easter Jeep Safari. We have interviews set up with off road racers, professional rock crawlers and industry manufacturers who will all give you an insight to what’s going on in the world of off road.

1:00 PM MasterCraft Seats Update
Robbie Pierce, MasterCraft’s practical joker, pulled a fast one
this morning on Fox Racing Shox VP – John Marking,
who was crowned the first overall winner of the MasterCraft
Trail Ride here in Moab. Howe Performance CEO-Jeff Howe
jumped in as they put Marking on the spot here in this audio
webcast.
The crowds continue to roll in here at the Vendor Show as the afternoon heats up under sunny skies.
Garrett & Matt Sisson interview:
With many people wrapping up their daily trail
ride on the red rock of Moab's recreation area the influx
of Jeep enthusiasts rolled into the Spanish Trail Arena
all afternoon to see the latest the off road world has to
offer.
And to top it all off the Moab Valley continues
to experience the most gorgeous weather we've seen here
during the Easter Jeep Safari week in many years. This is
quite a contrast to last years snow flurries we experienced
throughout the Vendor Show. With great weather the big groups
of friends and family have made their ways through manufacturers
row persuing the many vendors set up inside and outside
the arena.
Red Rock 4Wheelers Vice President - Tony Eyman
told DirtNewz that they have experienced a new record for
vendors including 16 manufacturer tractor-trailer rigs on
display.
DirtNewz is wrapping up our coverage from
today's vendor show and we'll be back tomorrow with more
from the 40th Annual Easter Jeep Safari. And Saturday we'll
give you the full report from the XRRA rock race that will
be held at area "BFE," just outside Moab, Utah.
