CORR
Season Finale Goes Off With a Bang / Jeff Huseman Takes a
Wild Ride During Qualifying
PRIMM, NV (November 2, 2007) –Lonsdale
Trucking/ Fabtech sponsored Jeff Huseman ran strong for the
first few laps of qualifying today in his Pro-Lite, but coming
thru the rythm section he took himself for a wild ride. Although
not finishing his final lap he qualified third, only a few
seconds behind championship driver Kyle Leduc. Papas &
Beer young gun Rodrigo Ampudia qualified first in Pro-Lite,
hoping to get a jump on Robert Naughton. Naughton has been
on a winning streak this season, and Rodrigo Ampudia is fighting
his way to the top.
In Pro-2 Carl Renezeder took the fast lap,
followed closely by Rob MacCachren and Jerry Whelchel. The
Pro-2 race is sure to be a close call as these three top racers
are all in the top three chasing towards the 2007 CORR Pro-2
Championship.
Rick Huseman proved that he has what it takes
to run up front this weekend as he captured the fastest Pro-4
lap during Friday's qualifying. Rick is only a few points
behind Carl Renezeder in the chase for the Pro-4 Championship
and will start in the front. Scott Douglas, Johnny Greaves,
Josh Baldwin and Carl Renezeder round out the top five of
Pro-4 qualifying.
