Temecula, Ca. (Oct. 29, 2007) – At age 10, Mitchell deJong already holds a valid drivers license, in racing that is!  Driver of the #24 Trophy Kart, Mitchell deJong pulled in to his 1st CORR race at the Texas Motor Speedway  October 19-20th leading in points for the championship and the battle was on! With just two race weekends left in the 2007 CORR season the competition was fierce to say the least!

There was 2 days of racing and qualifying with 4 races altogether scheduled for the Texas
venue. Having some horsepower issues with his motor that day Mitchell was able to qualify second fastest time.  As the green flag dropped, Mitchell got the whole shot heading in to the first turn when suddenly another truck flipped over landing right on Mitchell's front bumper and taking him out this race.  Luckily Mitch was able to make it up in the following race finishing 3rd place.

Newport Beach, CA (Oct. 26, 2007) –CORR arrives at Las Vegas International Off Road Raceway in Primm, NV for the 2007 finale weekend on Nov. 3rd and 4th.  Primm will be the final grounds for Championship battles and the 2nd Annual Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup.

In the Pro 4 class Carl Renezeder currently leads the points.  He racked up five wins in his Lucas Oil number 17, giving him a strong lead among the rest of the field.  In the Pro 2 class Jerry Whelchel leads by only 14 points in front of defending Pro 2 Champion Carl Renezeder.  In the Pro Lite class Rob Naughton took home eight wins in 2007 and leads the point’s race by 29 points. The pressure is on to see who will prevail in all three Pro Classes, as anything can happen in these final rounds.
