Potter/Worley Strong in the End Over DA-Steele
Laughlin, Nevada (January 21, 2007) The renegade,
Cam Steele, literally drove the wheels off of PINKIE in attempt
to beat the cool, calm collective Stan Potter here at Laughlin.
Well, no dice for the Kingpin of the Desert Assassin's as Potter
displayed his winning talent on the sands of the Colorado River.
With a two-day combined total of 1:45:02, Potter
beat the DA Boss by one minute and twenty-four seconds averaging
41.130 mph to Steele's 40.589. The dejected DA told us he was
bummed, but he had to focus on the upcoming truck race.
Michelle Bruckmann Rails To First 2007 Victory
on the Colorado River - Laughlin
SEELEY BIG WINNER for 2-Day Combined Event
Laughlin, Nevada (January 21, 2007) Michelle Bruckmann
railed her #503 to victory here at this 6-mile SCORE Laughlin
battlefield. Starting off the line against Saturday's leader,
Chris Bowman/Joey Westhoff, Bruckmann took advantage of an early
morning motor problem that plagued Chris Bowman before the first
lap was over. Bruckmann worked her SCORE Championship magic and
rallied her race car to victory on the sands of the Colorado
River.
Bruckmann's win was not enough to take the overall
away from George Seeley who had a two-day total time of 1:33:58
to take the important overall victory here at Laughlin. Finishing
in second was Chris Bowman/Joey Westhoff who were a mere 60 seconds
behind Seeley after two full days of racing.
Raul Solano WINNER Laughlin Desert Challenge

Laughlin, Nevada (January 21, 2007) Two days of
solid racing put Raul Solano on the podium after racing agasint
Mike Simpson and Brent Shermak for the combined two-day win.
Following in fourth was Adolfo Aguilar and fifth was Mario Reynoso.
Forest Creasy takes Class 9 as The Big Chill
Invades Laughin
Laughlin, Nevada (January 21, 2007) Icy cold weather
combined with a stiff breeze is the morning weather report as
everyone is bundled up here at the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge
on this final day of racing. However, Forest Creasy was ON FIRE
this morning in his Class 9 car blasting through the big deep
holes and beach sand to take the win over Brian Church, Joe Castrey
and Rob MacDonald.
Eric Solorzano Drives Class 11 to Win at LDC
Laughlin, Nevada (January 21, 2007) Class 11 is
regarded as the toughest off road racing class in the desert.
Eric Solorzano is the SCORE Class Champ and has 9 SCORE Baja
1000 championships under his belt. Here in Laughlin, Nevada,
Eric suffered a transmission issue on Saturday in the first race,
but here on a cold and windy Sunday morning he drove his red
Class 11 to victory. The smiling winner is on a roll to capture
the 2007 SCORE Desert Series.
