Please accept our greetings, and I would like to confirm that I have
received instructions from Mr. Pablo Alejo Lopez Nunez, Mayor of the
City of Ensenada, B.C. to offer all the security support for the upcoming
Tecate SCORE Baja 500, celebrating its 40th anniversary.

We hope that during your last visit to this City, on April 21st of this
year, in which you were accompanied by several members of the Media,
we wanted to show you the measures that the City Administration has
implemented on security issues. We have increased the number of video
surveillance cameras, we have increased the equipment for the Police
Department and specially the Tourist Police who will be working directly
on the areas of the City that receive the most visitors, and also we have
created an Elite Group specialized in immediate reaction (SWAT) that
stays alert for any emergencies.

I think that we are prepared to protect the security of the
organization, the race participants and spectators in general, that will visit
us for this important event, safekeeping the peace and tranquillity that
persist in this City.
