Carl Renezeder Captures his Second Win of the Day - Dominating Both Pro 2 and Pro 4 Races
Pro-4 Race Red Flagged After Barlow Rolls Three Times on the First Table Top
Jerry Whelchel started on the pole and led the entire race until the FINAL lap. Carl Renezeder started 3rd and made his way into 2nd after only a few laps. On the final lap he made contact with Jerry Whelchel and sent him flying into the burm. Whelchel saved it but Carl Renezeder made the pass and took the win. This will cap off Carl's 61st win in his CORR career.
4:50 PM LIVE UPDATE —Carl Renezeder took the lead right after the red flag restart and never looked back. Fighting with long time competitor Johnny Greaves, the two battled for the lead and Renezeder came out on top to capture his second win of the day, dominating in both the Pro 2 and Pro 4 races.

The three Herbst brothers, Tim, Ed and Troy, are racing side by side in 6th, 7th and 8th places
At the start of the 6th lap it's: Renezeder, Greaves, Huseman, Douglas and then Kyle Leduc
At the restart Troy Herbst is on two wheels in turn five and right behind him Baldwin rolls hard coming off the big 'Monster Mountain'
Kyle Leduc and Douglas fighting for third place and Kyle rolls in turn three, lands on all four wheels and doesn't lose a position...although he loses a few truck lengths on Douglas

The flag goes green again and Renezeder takes the lead with Johnny Greaves right behind him
Curt Leduc gets sideways in turn 3 and gets nailed in the side
Baldwin limps into the hot pits with a flat, gets it changed but didn't make it back onto the lead lap
Rick Huseman made his way into third place and is fighting for the lead
Daughtery rolls his truck and causes the entire field to slow down and get off their pace

The Bully Dog pace truck is off the track and the race is green
The checkered flag dropped and Steve Barlow came off the first table top too high, rolled three times in the air before hitting the ground. Unfortunatly that will be the end of Barlow's day, his crew will be working all night long trying to get that truck ready for tomorrow's race

Brother-in-law's Carl Renezeder and Josh Baldwin will start in the front row in the Pro-4 race. With Johnny Greaves and Scott Douglas close behind the show is about to start
Dirtnewz staffers spoke with Kyle "The Kid" Leduc earlier today and he told us that he's planning on taking it easy and making his way to the front once again. Finishing on top gave him the energy and confidence in his new truck and he now feels that he can run with the fastest Pro-4 drivers out there.

Naughton charges to the front with Bryce Menzies Capturing his first ever Pro Lite Podium
Robert Naughton may have qualified first yesterday but he had to work his way to the front as he started 8th after the inversion. Naughton made his way thru the field to capture his second win of the season in his Maxxis Tires Pro Lite. Bryce Menzies made him work for it as Bryce started right in front of Naughton and charged hard to take his first ever podium in his rookie Pro Lite season.

Marty Hart fell off the pace just a tad as Robert Naughton made the pass as did Bryce Menzies who captured his first ever podium as a rookie in the Pro Lite class this season

Currie gets the holeshot in turn one but Chris Brandt hot on his tail and makes contact in turn two but Currie holds the lead

Carl Renezeder Passes on the Final Lap to Take the Lead in Chula Vista for his First Win of the Season

Whelchel agrees that it was clean racing and is excited to be on the podium. "Me and Carl raced clean..a little touch here and there doesn't bother me." Although Whelchel didn't mind the little tap, the fans out here in the stands didn't agree as they chanted "boo.."
