SURPRISE, AZ – (October 20, 2009) -- Team General Tire was well represented on the podium in an outstanding showing in hundred-degree heat at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series event at Speedworld Off-Road Park October 17-18.
Suprise, AZ (October 18, 2009) - Menzies was cautious the first half of the race, staying out of the carnage as Whelchel charged hard up and over Adler taking them both out of the race. Running in second Menzies pushed to the front with only two laps to go and didn't let the pressure of Probst get to him as he headed for the checkered flag. Menzies took both wins in the Unlimited 2 class and third in yesterday's Unlimited 4 class. Look out for Menzies as he heads to the TORC season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway next weekend!!!
In the Unlimited 4 race it was Adrian Cenni, generally known to the industry as the "Wild Man", who landed in the winner's circle. Cenni overcame the controversy a few weeks ago at the TORC races in Perris, CA and proved he has a winning truck here at Speedworld today.
ROCKSTAR enjoyed the entire podium as Chris Brandt took the win in front of Brian Deegan and teammate Todd Cuffaro. These Rockstar's will be on a mission to the front for the remainder of the season so keep your eyes glued to these three Unlimited Lites.
No Suprises at Suprise as MENZIES Doubles up for second consecutive Unlimited 2 victory here this weekend. Menzies pushed to the front with only two laps to go in front of Probst for the lead and held on. Probst takes second and Geiser rounds out the podium for Round 10 of LOORS Racing.
White flag is out and Menzies makes the pass for the lead but won't go without getting heat from Probst who's inches behind.
Pierce out due to blown right rear shock after coming into contact with Renezeder.
Jones blown tranny out of the race.
Menzies charges on Renezeder and moves only inches behind. Carl Renezeder spins and moves back to 8th position. It's WARDY. PROBST. MENZIES. AMPUDIA. SEIFERT. RENEZEDER. DAVIS. WOODS. HART. PIERCE. GEISER at the mandatory caution. Only 10 laps to go.
Green flag and Wardy takes the lead over Renezeder, Menzies, Probst.
Rodrigo Ampudia, who was involved in the pile up, rages around the course to catch up to the lead lap. Whelchel pulls into the pits as Adler gets towed off the course.
Renezeder takes the lead early on in front of Wardy takes the second spot as Whelchel charges hard on top of Adler and officials call a full course caution to get the trucks off the track and unpiled.
Can Bryce Menzies push to the front and take a second win here in Suprise?

One lap to go and Brandt increases his lead over Deegan and Cuffaro. All three Rockstar trucks in the top three positions.
Brandt holds onto the lead as the next five all fight for second place
Officials are calling a green white checkered finish and it's Brandt up front followed by Deegan, Cuffaro, Loiodice, and Harrah.
Stephensen is being sent to the back as he came out onto the track, out of the hot pits, under a full red course.
Carpenter slows and gets out of the truck in a hurry as his #25 Unlimited Lite catches on fire. Officials call mandatory full course STOP while they put out the fire.
Cuffaro now gets stuck on the outside of turn 4 just as John Harrah has problems in the same turn. Matt Loiodice, a lap down but still running strong.
Stephensen goes inside on turn 4 and nearly takes out the track workers but slams on the breaks to get away. Brandt leads by 2 truck lengths.
Brandt charges hard in front of Deegan for the lead! It's Rockstar up front but can Deegan make the move to take his second consecutive Unlimited 2 race.
After 10 laps its: DEEGAN, CARPENTER, CUFFARO in the hunt for the podium
Loiodice gets his truck rolling again and back on the track as Deegan holds onto the lead but now trying to make it around lapped traffic.
Loiodice comes to a stop just after turn 5 as Geiser flys sideways off the table top and into oncoming traffic.
Carnage it taking over this Unlimited Lite class as Geiser makes his way back onto the track without any body panels, Naughton limps around in the back and tons of trucks strive to catch the top 5 in the lead pack.
It's Deegan, Carpenter, Brandt, Cuffaro and Loiodice battling to the top
Naughton goes on two wheels and karma hits and he rolls and falls to last place. Geiser, rolls in turn 5 and waits for officials to get him off the track as the #38 of Brian Deegan takes over the lead.
Heath Carpenter gets spun out at the start and chaos takes over the track causing officals to call a full course restart. Trucks will get repositioned into their original start positions.
Unlimited Lites are on the track and ready for the green flag. Chris Brandt and Carpenter are on the front row in front of Naughton and Deegan in row 2. Cuffaro, the top qualifier, and Stephensen in the third row in front of Matt Loiodice (MasterCraft #20) who led the first half of yesterday's race until he got taken out by Naughton.
LOORS Officials have informed DIRTnewz staff that the updated points will not be released until Wednesday. Stay posted as we will update for you as soon as they are released from LOORS.
After having a difficult time in practice and qualifying this morning Cameron Steele moves up in his #916 Unlimited Buggy early on. Steele moves to 4th position and will have to push his car to the limits at the mandatory caution in order to land on the podium.
Adrian Cenni takes the win from Carl Renezeder as Renezeder just couldn't catch the "Wild Man" in front of Carl Renezeder and Plueger will take third.
Side by side but Renezeder can't make the move on Cenni.
White flag is out and Cenni holds onto the lead. Only one more lap for Renezeder to make a move.
Both Herbst brothers back on the track but Chris Brandt pulls off.
It's still Cenni in front of Renezeder and Pflueger in third. All side by side coming out of turn 4. Menzis slows to a stop as he has problems with only 7 laps to go. Both Herbst brothers pulled off the track and are out of the race!! Only 4 trucks left competing.
Cenni holds the lead at the restart with Renezeder and Pflueger both in the hunt to chase him down. Troy Herbst flys higher off the front table top and nearly jumps over brother, Tim. Troy pushes hard in front of the #18 of Tim.

The mandatory caution is out with Cenni still holding the lead. Running order: CENNI, RENEZEDER, PFLUEGER, TIM HERBST, TROY HERBST, MENZIES, BRANDT.
Tim Herbst still leads over brother Troy by two truck lengths. Renezeder and Cenni running consisten laps out in front of the rest of the pack.

Travis Coyne pulls off the course after turn 1 and looks to be out of the race. Cenni still holds the lead in front of Renezeder, Pflueger Tim Herbst, Troy Herbst, Bryce Menzies and Chris Brandt.
Cenni takes command of the track as Renezeder moves into second in front of teammate Alan Pflueger. Bryce Menzies and Chris Brandt in the back of the pack making their way around the track. Eight trucks on the track for the Unlimited 4 race today.
Out of turn 1 it's Pflueger in the lead with Cenni inches behind. Renezeder in third already making a move on Pflueger and Coyne. Tim Herbst in front of brother Troy just behind Coyne.

Todd Cuffaro took the fast lap in the Unlimited Lite class in front of Stephensen, Naughton, Deegan, Carpenter, Brandt, and Loiodice. Deegan and Naughton will be on the front row in front of Stephensen and Cuffaro.
In the Unlimited 4 class Travis Coyne set the pace in front of Carl Renezeder, Adrian Cenni, Alan Pflueger and Tim Herbst. Top two rows will be inverted in the Unlimited 4 class putting Alan Pflueger and Adrian Cenni in the front row. Coyne and Renezeder in the second row in front of Tim Herbst and brother Troy Herbst.
Rodrigo Ampudia set the fast lap for the Unlimited 2 class this morning with a time of 54.997 in front of Greg Adler, Jerry Whelchel, Bryce Menzies and Kevin Probst. Officials will invert the top 4 rows putting Carl Renezeder in the front row and Jeff Ward, who qualified 8th, on the pole.
