Baja 1000 Winners – Honda’s 1X Champs

Steve Hengeveld, Johnny Campbell and Mike Childress combined a trio of experience when they rode to victory at the 2005 Baja 1000. As previously chronicled in the first two episodes of an exclusive DirtNewz feature with two of the three champs, they explained how they got there individually, but in this final episode they detail how they all worked together in winning the famed race.

Working together as an orchestrated team they were able to fend off some of the world’s top off road racers, as well as the toughest environment the Baja Peninsula had to offer in over two decades.
