- Darren Hardesty put the Off Road Warehouse/Major
Performance Racing Engines Class 10 around the course today in first
place capturing the Class 10 win over the field of nation's top racers
chasing him down.
- John Coolley rolls across in 2nd position physically
here in Laughlin where the temperatures are a cool mid-60's and skies
clear.
- Hunter single-seat developmental Class 10 succumbs
to mechanical failure with Rob Mac in the driver's seat.

- Rob MacCachren / BFGoodrich sponsored All-American
Racing Champion raced the red single seat Hunter Class 10 starting
in 22nd position and after one lap has moved into 8th physically passing
12 cars on one lap.

Sunday- 9:50 AM - STEELE Wins BIG Injuring
his Arm In The Car
MAJOR PERFORMANCE RACING ENGINES TAKES First,
Second & Third in Class 12 with STEELE, NOE & BATILUS - AND
6 OUT OF THE TOP 7 FOR MAJOR PERFORMANCE!!!!
- Tim Noe was first across the line physically, however
Cameron Steele, driving the pink Desert Assassin's Class 12 car captured
the win here at the Laughlin Desert Challenge. Steele pushed the DA
car hard starting from the third row and chasing Tim Noe. Steele drove
to the win with his gorgeous bride - Heidi Steele in the right seat
who performed co-driving duties. Steele and his teammate, Clyde Stout
were in Phoenix last night at the Amped Mobile Supercross and then
flew a charter plane back to Laughlin where he rose early this morning
for this Class 12 win. Stay tuned for a full audio interview with
Cameron after his injured arm is attended to by medical personnel.

/ STEELE & NOE
- Tim Noe/Travis Clarke running hot at Laughlin finishing
ahead of Jake Batilus and Cam Steele. However it's way too close to
call after the teams have just crossed the line here in Laughlin.
Steele finished only seconds behind Batilus who charged hard in the
last couple laps to overcome Tim Noe, who has yet to finish.

he was going to win the Class 12 Laughlin Championship today and leave
no prisoners.

Sunday- 8:22 AM Update - LEDEZMA WINS 5/1600
at Laughlin
- Danny Ledezma captured victory here at the Laughlin
Desert Challenge after racing hard against Billy Gereghty whose steering
wheel broke off in the middle of the race forcing him to slow his
pace considerably.
- In Class 9 it was Tony Modica who took the win
over the field of five nine cars followed by Brian Church in second
place.
- RPS CEO - Barry Beacham drove the Weger Mortage
Sportsman PreRunner buggy to a win in the SCORE Sportsman class in
the first race of the morning here on the shores of the Colorado River.
- Eric Solorzano Victorious at Laughlin. Solorzano
beat Gary Helming who drove the #1149 car. These two teams were the
only two Class 11's who raced here in Laughlin and they bumped and
battled each other in a great race before Solorzano captured victory.
Sunday- 8:09 AM Update - Shermak Takes Over
As Gereghty has steering problems - Ledezma charging hard!
- Billy Gereghty lost his steering wheel which broke
in his hands as he was dicing the field for the win here at the Laughlin
Desert Challenge.
- #901 Forest Creasy lost his transmission only yards
from the finish line before they pushed the car across the line.
- Cissy Baldwin/Kelley Renezeder rocked the course
here at the Laughlin Desert Challenge. At the finish Kelley said,
"The mirror is for checking your makeup after the race right?"
The Baldwin/Renezeder wives charged hard in a 12-year old buggy that
Josh regularly uses for his preruns. Nice job ladies!
