Inside a MasterCraft Race Seat

1. Mastercraft seats are made from high-quality Rogue Naugahyde with a center insert of close-weave nylon fabric and slots for a 5-point harness system. Optional gromments in the cover provide a bellows action to keep you cool. Many colors are available to complement or contrast any racing color scheme.

2. Polyurethane foam of differing thickness and density is glued to the liner and built up to achieve desired shape. Mastercraft will custom-fit any seat to assure correct body contour and driving position!

3. All stress points are double-lapped and grommeted for max stength. Liner is attached to frame and tied with nylon parachute cord.

4. Your Mastercraft seat may be ordered with optional lumbar support. Fitted to seat frame, it offers up to 3" of adjustable lumbar support, and adjustment knob may be attached to right or left side.

5. Suspension liner is made of a nylon-coated textile mesh that provides extreme strength and durability. The porous mesh will breathe and allow moisture to pass through.

6. Mastercraft's rugged seat frames are constructed with mandrel-bent and Mig-welded 3/4" mild-steel tubing (.065" wall, HREW 1010)

Rob MacCachren - Rockstar Racing
For nearly three decades, Rob MacCachren has been racing in the open desert. As a second-generation desert racer, Rob began his career following in the footsteps of his father while growing up in the Nevada desert. His career accomplishments include winning three consecutive Borg-Warner Championships, as well as three Governor's Cup Championships, all at Crandon International Raceway in Wisconsin. Rob has also accumulated 5 SCORE Baja 1000 victories and another 5 SCORE Baja 500 wins. MacCachren was heralded as the premier driver after winning the longest distance (1296 miles point-to-point) SCORE Baja 1000 ever held in 2007. The multi-disciplined championship racer has accumulated over 150 victories and numerous championships between closed short course and open desert racing.

Casey was born into a motor sports family. With a family that has been in business for over 50 years building high performance rear end’s for most off road and NASCAR style racing he has grown up behind the wheel. Growing up in Anaheim Hills, California he has been drawn to anything with a motor. By the age of 5 he was racing motorcycles and by the age of 16 he jumped behind the wheel of his first race truck. In 2003 Casey won the MDR series in his JeepSpeed and won many races along the way. In 2004 Casey switched to a Pro Truck and Class 1 taking 2nd in Pro Truck in the Baja 1000 and 3rd l In the Class 1 Car in the Baja 500. In 2005, Currie moved to SuperMoto and quickly proved himself, winning many races and ranking himself 5th Overall in the AMA Lites Class and 1st In team points in his rookie year. The single-layer race suit by MasterCraft Safety® is the ideal entry-level option, offering the highest level of protection available in an SFI 3.2A/1 rated suit. Constructed from durable flame-resistant cotton, this one-piece race suit exceeds many of the race sanction's requirements for fire safety.
Fully Custom MasterCraft Race Suits
The MasterCraft Safety® race suits are available in a variety of color combinations, the race suit offers sizes ranging from medium to XX large and will accommodate most body types. The suit is customizable with optional built-in elbow and knee pads and can also feature an optional deep side pocket and a clear "Baja Cargo" outer plastic window for carrying needed documentation during Baja and remote location races.
