MasterCraft Safety Relocates Corporate Headquarters

Santee, Calif., April 08, 2010 - MasterCraft Safety, the original manufacturer of innovative safety suspension seating and restraint systems, has announced its corporate office relocation to what has become known as the “Off-Road Motorsports Mile.” The move by MasterCraft Safety is the second in the last five years and was necessary in order to accommodate the company’s continued growth and production capacity needs.
"Since 1970, MasterCraft Safety has been proudly manufacturing all of our safety suspension seating, restraints, window nets, and now our exclusive line of SFI approved racesuits and SFI crew fire safety apparel right here in Southern California," says company CEO, Robbie Pierce.
MasterCraft Safety’s corporate offices and final assembly operations for the safety seating and restraints will now be housed in a state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot facility in close proximity to other off-road related businesses such as Fox Shox, AlumiCraft, and Jimco Racing. MasterCraft Safety’s fabricating and welding facility will continue to be located nearby in its own 12,000 square foot building while the racesuit and safety apparel division will be in a separate 6,000 square foot building next door to the corporate offices.
In addition to expanding the operating space, MasterCraft Safety has also increased production capacity and efficiency with the addition of a six head embroidery machine and a CNC material cutting system. “The new automated fabric cutter will not only provide uniformity to our seating and racesuit patterns, it will streamline the entire process and will increase overall production. The new embrodiery machine will provide exceptional detail and customization to our already unparelleled line of custom and Signature racesuits," remarked company owner, Robbie Pierce.
The relocation moves the company’s operations from the previous facility west side of the 67 Freeway to a newly purchased and renovated facility located just east of the 67 Freeway and north of Woodside Avenue in Santee, California.
