Johnson Motorsports and KICKER to Partner in 2009
October 30, 2008 Johnson Motorsports, a Las Vegas-based professional rockcrawling team, is pleased to announce its new partnership with KICKER Audio of Stillwater, OK for the fast-approaching 2009 rockcrawling season. "We are honored to represent KICKER and be paralleled with its many high-caliber athletes," commented Nicole Johnson.
KICKER, which manufactures automotive, home and marine audio products, currently sponsors action sports athletes from various disciplines, including motocross, skate boarding, skiing, drifting and drag racing.
"KICKER is extremely happy to be associated with one of the top rockcrawling teams in the nation," KICKER Sports Marketing Manager Jason Jones said. "Not only have they found success in competition, but also in marketing and representing their brand. With this being our first venture into the motorsport, we couldn't be more pleased than to be linked with the hard-working and respected team of Nicole and Frank Johnson."
To formally initiate the new partnership, Johnson Motorsports' rock buggy will be on display during the KICKER Big Air Bash party at Palms Casino Resort on Wednesday, November 5th. Anticipating thousands of attendees and timed around the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Bash will feature live freestyle motocross and a performance by guitar-great Kenny Wayne Shepherd. During the festivities, the evening's host will conduct a filmed interview with Nicole Johnson, which will air on Fuel TV in 2009.
