Shannon Campbell Succumbs his incredible times to Penalty
Gilbert, AZ – April 13, 2000 - This past weekend Team Monster Energy headed to Moab, UT for the XRRA Season Opener at the Moab Red Rock Raceway. This season Team Monster Energy/Shannon Campbell will be competing in the new IFS rock racer. Shannon pulled off some incredible times on all four courses having three of the fastest but unfortunately took out a banner and was given a two-minute penalty missing the shoot out by 6 seconds taking a 7th place finish. Without this penalty Team Monster would have had a 1-minute lead going into the shootout. The new buggy worked great. Once again Mike and Jodi Weaver and the staff of the XRRA put on a great race and we look forward to the next one in Colorado Springs, CO – June 20-21. Next on Team Monster Energy’s calendar is the W.E. Rock (east) event April 24-26 in Dayton, TN.
